Uranian Astrology is a modern form of astrology based on teachings of the German astrologer Alfred Witte (1878-1941), who was the founder of the Hamburg School of Astrology. Its focus is on midpoint analysis, and it utilizes several hypothetical transneptunian planets.

In the 1970s, German chemist, psychologist, and astrologer Ruth Brummund, a student of Ludwig Rudolph, began developing some of the most advanced research and methods in the Hamburg School, and ultimately formed the school of "Uranische Astrologie" or Uranian astrology in 1993 to maintain the focus on midpoint analysis and resist regression to more mainstream historical techniques. Ruth Brummund's material has only recently become available in English.

Along with extensive midpoint analysis, Uranian Astrology incorporates the use of 16th-harmonic aspects, singled out for their correlation with dynamic energy manifestations. These include the conjunction, opposition, square, semi-square, and sesqui-quadrate , as well as all other multiples of 22.5° angles.
