Tropical Astrology

In this system of astrology, the placement of the zodiac signs is tied in with the seasons, as opposed to the Sidereal Astrology system, in which they correspond with the actual placement of their respective constellations in the sky. In tropical astrology, Aries always starts at the beginning of Spring, at the vernal equinox. Cancer starts at the summer solstice; Libra at the autumnal equinox; and Capricorn at the winter solstice.
