Any chance this could be integrated with Aspects to reduce redundancy? --Linda Pedersen 16:40, 25 Jul 2005 (PDT)
Yeah, that would be a good idea, although this was nicely done YagaZuzy. Is it possible to automatically redirect pages that are just variations of a specific word, or do we have to do it manually by typing a message on the variation pages that says "see this article"?--Chris Brennan 20:12, 25 Jul 2005 (PDT)
Nope, there is a really easy way to do it. But, the page can't already exist. So if this aspect page did not exist, we could go to the page "aspects" and click on "move". Then type the word aspect for the page to move it to. After that, both aspects and aspect will go to the same page. This is called a redirect.
YagaZuzy, in order to merge these, we need to rewrite aspects then delete this page and redirect the other one here. Would you mind rewriting aspects for us to include all this information? You can leave or delete anything on the other page you think is necessary. Then when you are done let me know and I will delete this one and merge them for you. --Linda Pedersen 20:56, 25 Jul 2005 (PDT)
Oops. I didn't realize there was another page on aspects already. I thought it was kind of strange that there was not a listing for it in the glossary, as I was just going down the list deciding what to add/define. I will take a look when I have a free moment. In the future, we should probably add any relevant pages to the glossary as needed or when created.
Well, the links will show up automatically in the right plurality (aspects would have shown as a link but not aspect). Also, it is kind of my fault because I think the norm is to create all articles in the singular and then right away create the plural version and redirect it to the singular. My bad, I was not familiar enough with wikis at the time. Lets try to check from now on if there is a plural (or singular) version of the article before we create one, then one can be redirected to the other easily.
Hey Yagazuzy, since this is kind of my fault and since you already did a lot of work on that page (which was great by the way), I feel I should try to fix this so you don't have to waste your time. I am going to try to merge the two pages (yikes!). But, your page will still be in history, so please, please just edit away and change anything you want. --Linda Pedersen 18:56, 26 Jul 2005 (PDT)
I also linked "points" to the existing page "Chart points" if that is okay (will now go and merge the two). --Linda Pedersen 19:08, 26 Jul 2005 (PDT)
OK, it's all good. I'm new to wikis too! I'm just learning as I go... Yagazuzy 15:58, 27 Jul 2005 (PDT)
How about his "Dynamics of Aspects Analysis?" A different view from harmonics; a sextile is like Aquarius or Gemini (air); trine like leo or sag (fire); square like cancer or cap (cardinal).--Kishner 11:41, 18 November 2005 (PST)
