I figure there's no use in re-inventing the wheel - the definition at wikipedia for the ascendant is very comprehensive. Perhaps a few of the "most wanted" pages can use the wikipedia definitions as base definitions? --Johnnyc 18:17, 3 November 2005 (PST)Johnnyc
Nice article, guys. I agree it is fine to use some articles from wikipedia (there are a few here already). All content copied under the GFDL license has to be attributed to the original authors. As per wikipedia's own conventions, I take the wording of the license to mean (for a wiki) a link back to the original article and an acknowledgement that all or part of the article was copied. I put a citation/reference to wikipedia on the article page, which I believe meets the GFDL license requirements for both a verbatim copy and derivative (changes we make). You can use that as a model for any other articles copied from wikipedia or other online source under the GFDL. Thanks. --StarAlchemist 19:15, 3 November 2005 (PST)
Thanks for clarifying this issue for me, StarAlchemist. I wasn't sure. --Johnnyc 23:10, 3 November 2005 (PST)Johnnyc
