Sarah Ferguson is famous throughout the world because she married Prince Andrew and became a member of the British royal family. She was often misunderstood and as a result felt that she had no other alternative but to divorce Andrew and leave the royal life that she had known for 10 years. The press had such a field day writing stories about Sarah that this left her feeling particularly vulnerable and betrayed. In an attempt to tell the world her side of the story of her life, she wrote her autobiography entitled, “My Story”.

“My Story” reveals that she was actually a very unconfident person who needed constant reassurance and her basic life themes are listed as follows:-

  • She came from a broken home and her mother moved to Argentina;
  • She lacked confidence;
  • She had a tendency to comfort eat, which gave her a weight problem;
  • She always had problems with living beyond her means, thereby leading to debt;
  • She wrote a book about Budgie the helicopter;
  • She learned to fly;
  • When she married Andrew, she had to endure extended absences, which served to prolong her feelings of loneliness and isolation;
  • When her first child was born, she slipped and ripped her stitches;
  • When her second child was born, she had to have a caesarean section;
  • She was £3 million in debt at one point;
  • She was betrayed by her friends and family, as they sold their stories to the press in order to profit from their association with her;
  • She did not receive a great deal of support, which no doubt added to the problems in her marriage;
  • Andrew told her that he was a prince, a naval officer, and then a husband, and there was no way that she could be happy, knowing that she was so far down on his list of priorities.

Sarah’s Sun is placed in the sign of Libra in the eleventh house, and such a placement indicates that relationships and friendships mean a great deal to her. Because her Sun is placed in the eleventh house of friends, she makes friends with those individuals who are among her social circle. In fact, she met Andrew through a social event that had been organised through friends. Being a Libra, Sarah would no doubt have the ability to make people feel special, thereby endearing herself to others. One thing about Libras is that while relationships are very important to them, everlasting love seems to elude them because they seek perfection in the partnerships they form. Most Libras are lucky but not wealthy. While their material needs will usually be met in this world, they are unlikely to amass a great wealth in their life times. The reason for this is because Venus is a minor money planet, which indicates that money will come easily to the Libra. The ability to manage one’s money and make it grow is a skill that must be learned and is not something that comes naturally to them. The Sun’s ruler, Leo, is in the ninth house of the horoscope, which indicates Sarah’s love of travel. Because she was born into an elitist class in British society, and married into the royal family, she had many more opportunities that are not available to most of us ordinary souls. Sarah’s mother lived in Argentina with her second husband and she naturally visited her mother there. She loved holidays and would therefore book her get-aways on credit, if need be. When Sarah married into the royal family, she travelled all over the world with her official engagements and charities and met a wide variety of people from all walks of life.

Sarah’s Sun forms a semi-square to Pluto, which is one of the reasons why her reputation took such a beating. She was very misunderstood and people came to the entirely wrong conclusions about her. When she wrote the Budgie book she was accused of plagiarism. It is important to keep in mind that our universe has been going on for many millions, if not billions, of years, so it is highly unlikely that anybody could come up with any truly original ideas. All of the events in this world have been recycled a multitude of times throughout the various eras that mankind has been a part of. All of the stories in this world have the same basic themes; but have merely been retold differently. Therefore, who is to say that the individual who accused Sarah of plagiarising his work did not get his original idea from somebody else?

Plagiarism is a difficult area to delve into because we all receive our ideas from the universal mind. One of the few things in this world that is original is a person’s natal horoscope. The reason being that due to the precession of the equinox, a person will not have another horoscope identical to that of another for 26,000 years, when the Earth reaches the exact same place in our universe.

Sarah’s Sun forms a sextile to Uranus, which indicates that many unexpected opportunities would be presented to her that would change the course of her life. Even though Sarah was given a rough ride by her adversaries, her friends did hep her out when she was in need. The Sun forms a conjunction to Mars, which indicates that Sarah as a lot of energy that helps her to accomplish important tasks in her life. Mars signifies cutting, and Sarah did have some health problems related to that. Sarah had difficulties in childbirth: after the first birth her stitches ripped when she slipped. The second birth was a breach birth where she had to have a caesarean section. Sarah blames the royal establishment for her breach birth because two weeks prior to going into labour she was told off by senior courtiers for having a social meeting with an inappropriate person. Prior to the rollicking the baby was in the correct position to give birth naturally. After the meeting, however, the baby moved around in her womb and became breached.

The Sun forms a semi-square to Venus, which puts stress on her personal relationships. Sarah married a man in a very high position in life, but such a relationship did not give her the happiness that she sought. Andrew told Sarah that he was a prince, a naval officer, and then a husband, and there was no way that any self-respecting Libran could put up with a domestic situation like that. Librans need an equal partnership, and that is not what she got when she married Andrew.

Sarah’s Moon is in the sign of Aries in the fourth house, which indicates that her mother was a dominant, vibrant force in her life. Because the Moon is placed in her house of the home, her home and family mean a great deal to her. This is quite evident by the fact that she has gone to great lengths to protect her children even when she was a prominent public figure. The Moon rules Cancer, which is on the cusp of the ninth house. This indicates that her mother was far away from her, as she had moved to Argentina to live with her second husband. This gave Sarah the opportunity to travel and experience cultures far different from her own from a young age. Travel would always be something that was very important to her. The Moon forming a conjunction to the South Node indicates that Sarah suffers from depression, which is endogenic in nature. She in all probability has biochemistry similar to her own mother, and has therefore inherited a tendency towards melancholia. The Moon forming a quincunx to Pluto indicates that her parents’ divorce had a profound effect on her early home life. It affected her confidence, as she was always somewhat insecure. When her marriage broke up, it was not merely a marital dispute, and her reputation was left in tatters. Most people believe that if Sarah and Andrew had not been royalty, they would have been able to resolve their differences out of the media spotlight and it is unlikely that they would ever even have divorced.

The Moon forms a quincunx to Neptune, which again refers to the dark night of the soul that she experienced during the demise of her marriage. It is important to remember that Librans take marriage very seriously and the decision to end it is not something they take lightly. The Moon forms a sesiquadrate to Uranus, thereby indicating that she would be asked to make an important decision. When Sarah married into the royal family she had to give up a great deal of her individuality. When she left the royal family, she reclaimed it, but at a price. The Moon forms a square to Saturn, which refers to a basic mistrust of other people, which has no doubt come about through her previous experiences. It also shows that she had to learn how to manage her money. Sarah had to work to provide for herself and her daughters, so she needed to plan for her future. She would be wise to purchase her own property because it would give her a base to work from as well as a sense of stability that she has never known.

The Moon forms a trine to Jupiter, which indicates that she has a wise disposition and can give sage advice, especially with regard to domestic matters. Jupiter placed in the first house indicates that she does have problems with her weight, and it is her natural state of health to be a little bit heavier than the norm. This aspect indicates that she enjoys her food, which can do doubt lead to weight gain. The Moon forms a quincunx to Venus, which indicates that she would have to make adjustments in her domestic life to find happiness in her personal relationships. Sarah would be happiest forming a relationship with someone who she works with in some capacity, thereby enabling her spend time with her beloved and meet her obligations at the same time.

The Moon forms a quincunx to Mercury, which indicates that Sarah has had to learn the hard way not to reveal too much about herself to other people because some individuals would seek to promote themselves by betraying her confidence. This is evidenced by the fact that some family members have let her down by revealing publicly their views on her personal life without ever consulting her. The Moon is the most active body in Sarah’s chart, which means that it is very lunarised. Because the Moon is so prominent in the chart, she has many Arien qualities, such as energy, forthrightness, drive and ambition.

Sarah’s Mercury is placed in Scorpio in the twelfth house, which indicates that she is a very frank individual. She is not one to play with words and has a great deal of depth and meaning when she speaks to others. The twelfth house placement indicates that her communication is very much karmicly influenced. The press would take every word or act, and make it into something that did not portray Sarah as she really is. Mercury rules that eighth and tenth houses, which indicates her thinking patterns are very much a part of her reputation and that which she receives from others. Sarah is fortunate enough to have close friends and partners who are generous with her, and have helped her out financially and emotionally. Mercury forms a sextile to Pluto and this reveals that her secret enemies and the press would see her downfall and attempt to destroy her reputation. Pluto is the master teacher, even more so than Saturn, because one never forgets a lesson that has been taught under this planet’s influence. Sarah was therefore damaged, but not beaten, and has learned the hard way to be more selective of what she would like to communicate to others. She has also learned to use the press to her advantage, which is in definite contrast to the way they used her years earlier. Mercury forms a conjunction to Neptune, and this refers to Sarah’s propensity to become depressed, especially when life is not going exactly the way she would like. Mercury forms a sextile to Venus, and this indicates that while she is an attractive person, she does not see herself as such. She has a tendency to form partnerships with people in high places, but she has to make sacrifices to see these unions through to completion. Some sacrifices are simply contradictory to her primary certitude, and that is when she will experience difficulties both professionally and personally. This aspect is clearly evident in her marriage to Andrew. She could not cope with his extended absences and the fact that he would, in her opinion anyway, never put her first. If Andrew had been an ordinary guy with a 9 to 5 job, it is highly unlikely that they would have had the difficulties that they were presented with. Having said that, if Andrew had been an ordinary guy, it is highly unlikely that she would have been attracted to him in the first place.

Sarah’s Venus is in Virgo, forming a conjunction to her Midheaven. This placement reveals that Sarah is not one to fall head over heels in love, but carefully thinks about any romantic interests that she may have. Sarah had the will to become romantically involved with individuals who she meets through her duties because they played such a prominent role in her life. Venus, the minor benefic, placed in the tenth house, indicates that responsibility and duty were destined to be such a major part of Sarah’s life, so it is not surprising that she would marry into the royal family: what better way to serve than to serve one’s country. Venus rules the sixth and seventh houses, as well as the eleventh. This again reveals that she would have many opportunities to develop relationships with those who she meets in her day-to-day lives. These relationships would help to enhance her standing in life more prominently then if she had remained single. Venus ruling the eleventh house shows that Sarah would also find opportunities for love through social engagements, which is precisely how she came to be acquainted with her husband, Andrew.

Venus forms a conjunction to Pluto, which reveals that the concept of love would prove to be her downfall. Being a Libra, she needed to be with a man who would put her first, so marrying a prince and a naval officer was not an ideal marital choice for an individual who wanted to be put first because that is something that he would never be able to do. Pluto reared its dark side when Sarah’s relationship with her financial adviser was revealed to the world. This span of bad luck was further exacerbated when Sarah debts spiralled out of control. Although Pluto’s influence seemed devastating at the time, Sarah was forced to learn to manage her money, and it was a lesson she is not likely to forget for a very long time. Venus forms a sextile to Neptune, which indicates that Sarah dreamed of her knight in shining armour coming to whisk her off her feet and save her from the ills of the world. When she married Andrew, she believed that she had married into a fairy tale existence, but she was sadly mistaken. Instead of living the enchanted life that an outsider would naturally assume, she discovered that what she felt was often imprisonment. Sarah felt isolated and this further exacerbated her tendency towards depression. Venus forms a square to Jupiter, which refers to Sarah’s financial difficulties. She will always struggle with wanting more than she can afford. Probably one of the biggest mistakes made was to give her an account with Coutts with practically unlimited credit. As a result of this, a debt of £3 million was amassed. The square aspect brought tension, so when the time was right the funds would be removed. Sarah was therefore forced to think of ways to earn money to pay off her debts. Venus forms a semisquare to Mars, thereby indicating that Sarah would invariably have conflicts with some of her friends over her personal relationships. This no doubt would cause her a great deal of tension. One thing that would cause Sarah problems in her personal relationships would be her choice of friends, as evidenced by her liaison with an American financial advisor who, in the end, betrayed as well her by selling his story to the press.

Sarah’s Mars is posited in Libra in the eleventh house of her horoscope. This indicates that she puts a great deal of energy into all of her personal relationships. As a result, she is not usually without friendship or company. Mars in the fifth house indicates that Sarah would have difficulty in childbirth. When her first child was born her stitches were torn, and her second birth was a caesarean section. Mars ruling the twelfth house indicates that she would encounter many people who are jealous of her good fortune, and would seek revenge for any real of imagined wrong. Sarah would have to find out the hard way exactly who her true friends were, but not before a great deal of damage had already been done.

Jupiter is posited in Sagittarius in the first house. Jupiter is indicative of expansion, and being placed in the first house of he body reflects that Sarah will need to watch her weight because the propensity to expand will always be there. Jupiter is also the planet of money, which gives a clue as to Sarah’s financial difficulties. While she personally was not born with a great deal of money, she had within herself the propensity to amass wealth through her own efforts. This is indicated by Jupiter’s square with Pluto, where she was forced to get a grip on her finances. The square represents lessons learned while Pluto depicts the enforced transformation that must take place before she can grow and evolve. Because Coutts had given Sarah unlimited credit and then withdrew that credit, she had to go out and work to repay the money that she owed And work she did. Sarah decided to capitalise on her longstanding battle with her weight, she became a spokesperson for Weight Watchers, the money of which helped her to clear her massive overdraft. Although Pluto is a hard taskmaster, she is not likely to forget the value of this planet for some time to come. Jupiter forms a sextile to the North Node. This shows that Sarah is able to use her huge personality to help her to build relationships with those who are in her circle of friends to help her throughout what can often be a rather difficult time. Jupiter forms a semi-sextile to Saturn, which reveals that Sarah would need to learn to manage her money, which she did. Saturn in this placement shows that she would need to work for her money because nothing would be handed to her on a silver platter.

Saturn is posited in Capricorn in the second house. Such a placement indicates that Sarah was a late bloomer, coming into her own as she matured. It also shows that she would have to work for her money and learn to manage it properly, perhaps even investing it for her future. This placement reveals that she lacks confidence in her own ability and she will therefore have to learn to like herself before she can make any significant advances in her life. Saturn forms a square to the nodal axis. This indicates that Sarah has much work of a karmic nature to work through. She was forced to take on the role of working mother because she married into royalty but received little, if any, support to help her to fulfil that role, and then had to pay off the debts that had been accumulated during her marriage within the royal establishment. This placement reflects that she would have to work at her personal relationships in order to achieve any kind of success. Saturn forms a trine to Pluto, which reveals the need for Sarah to manage her money, and sometime do without, if necessary. Saturn rules the third house of the chart, which reveals that Sarah would have to learn how to relate to her siblings and peers. Although she has many good qualities in her own right, she nevertheless did not feel confident around those among her milieu.

Uranus, the planet of choices, is posited in Leo in the ninth house. This indicates that Sarah would have many opportunities to expand her level of awareness through her travels, education, and various life experiences. It was Sarah who chose to marry into the royal family, and it was Sarah who chose to leave it as well. Uranus forms a semi-sextile to the North Node, and this reveals that Sarah would have to make difficult decisions with regard to her personal relationships, and these would in turn affect her reputation. Because she needed to love and be loved, she may very well have formed inappropriate liaisons, but even this was a learning experience that has helped her to grow and develop as a human being.

Neptune is placed in Scorpio in the twelfth house. This indicates that Sarah has had unrealistic expectations of some individuals. There are some people who were jealous of what they thought was her good fortune and they decided to harm her by taking even the most innocent remarks and using them against her. This would have been very easy to accomplish because she was a public figure. The Neptune placement indicates that she falls prey to depression when under stress, and this depression would cause her to exercise improper judgement in some instances. Neptune rules the fourth house, which reveals that form an early age Sarah had a home life that was somewhat surreal. Her parents were not happy together, which inevitably put a strain on the entire family. Even when her mother left, adjustments needed to be made to ensure the proper functioning of the household. Sarah’s own father let her down when he wrote a tell-all book and discussed aspects of her private life without her permission. Neptune forms a sextile to Pluto, which reveals that when she suffers loss, she reacts by becoming melancholy. Much of this loss can be traced to her very idealistic nature and an intense desire to live in a perfect world. When she slowly comes to the realisation that we live in a very imperfect would, and for the most part must make the best of what life has given us, she will be much happier with herself and others.

Pluto is in Virgo in the ninth house, forming a conjunction to the Midheaven. Such a configuration is very significant, as it reveals a person who will have to work very hard to rebuild her reputation after a major upheaval. Pluto in Virgo indicates that she would have several jobs throughout her lifetime, and that she would be required to work very hard in order to secure a stable future for herself. Pluto rules the twelfth house, which reveals that much of the work that she must perform will be of a karmic nature, and she must finish off any loose ends of pervious incarnations before she can progress to the next step in her spiritual development.
