The seventh house is used in horary questions about committed relationships and legalized unions. The significators are the following:

• the querent is signified by the First house and its lord.
• the quesited is signified by the Seventh house and its lord.
• Venus is always used as the natural significator for love.

If the querent wants to know if the quesited is married or involved with somebody else, the quesited is represented by the Seventh house and its lord, and the other person is signified by the First house and its lord, the First house being the seventh house from the seventh house.

In questions about love and relationships, a significator's dignity shows how intense is that person's love for the other. Reception shows the person's inclination to act. Aspects between the significators give indications about the opportunity to act.

In horary questions about non-committed, casual and sex-based relationships the Fifth house is normally used.
