Indicates the strength of one’s religious belief, as showed by the planets that conjunct the North Node. The native may travel to distant countries, where he will acquire fame and honours. His family life and particularly his relationships to his brothers and sisters will he unhappy. If in aspect to the malefics, these indications are to be reverted.
South Node in the third house
According to Abû Ma'sar as reported by Guido Bonatti, the following medieval interpretation of the South Node in the third house applies to nativities, solar returns and horary questions:
The native may quarrel with his brothers, may be separated from them, and perhaps they may have to face some dangers, or be cause of much troubles. If the cusp of the third house falls in a masculine sign, then these indications are to be referred to brothers. If the cusp is in a feminine sign, the interpretation is to be understood with reference to one’s sisters. It may be possible that the native may loose one or more of his brothers or sisters. The native's siblings, neighbors, or closest friends may be involved in endless arguments. Short trips may be tiring and unproductive.
