This aspect indicates that the blockages and wounds indicated by Chiron (and their cause, probably seen clearly in childhood) seem to block optimism and success. These individuals may sometimes feel cheated by fate and blame their problems on others, or they may go off on a whim wrapped up in their own adventure only to be drawn up short by the issues they have ignored. Eventually, however, they begin to see the balance point between the two extremes of carefree avoidance and taking responsibility for their issues. There is a lot of energy available for them to pursue healing and wisdom.
