In the field of astrology, a debility is referred to when a planet or other celestial body is in the sign of its detriment or fall. Debility plays a very important role in horary astrology, where it is further divided in essential debilities and accidental debilities.
When a planet it in its fall, it works with the least strength and is opposite the sign of its exaltation. The sign of a planet's fall is the one that has the affect of resisting the planet's nature the most, resulting in an impasse. The falls of each planet are:-
