Motion of a celestial body towards a point where it will aspect another body.

In horary astrology application takes place from a faster-moving body to a slower-moving body. For instance Mercury – a fast moving planet, can apply an aspect to Saturn, a slower moving planet. This distinction is normally not applied in natal astrology.
