Hi everybody -- newbie here. I have a family member who will have tr-Pluto conjunct natal Saturn in H3 (Capricorn). In addition, this conjunction will square her transiting Saturn H12 (Libra). I've heard much about the Pluto/Saturn conjunction, but what happens when it's squared tr-Saturn? I suspect the Pluto/Saturn conjunction will get more restrictive, but does anybody know something more specific? This alignment will occur around January 2010. :nono

Data: DOB: August 22, 1930 @ 9:36 am (Saskatoon, Saskatewan)

Hi!

Oh, yes, you were born under the PREVIOUS Saturn cycle! I assumed you were younger for some reason. Oh, well, every 28 or 29 years...

I think that as Pluto has been conjuncting your Saturn in Capricorn in the 2nd, you have also been feeling it's sextile to your Mercury in Scorpio conjunct your 12th. And notice that it's squaring your Nodes... And yes, Jupiter has been over your Chiron in Aquarius and opposite your Uranus in Leo. (And since Uranus is actually opposite both your Chiron and your Moon, which are conjunct, that does show the wound of the loss of your birth parents, even though it may not be conscious.) And as Jutpier has been passing over Chiron and back and forth over the conjunction with your Moon, you want to reconnect with your birth mother once again to heal from the loss of both of your mothers. I think that you should do it, as Jupiter may smooth things over as it becomes almost conjunct the Moon by transit in September. There is a Saturn cycle occuring at the same time, as Saturn enters Libra and enters a new quarter of it's orbit through your life. You are contemplating deep and hidden sides of yourself and of your life as Pluto sextiles your Mercury in Scorpio, which is conjunct your 12th house cusp. So secrets from your past may be revealed, as well as repressed emotions and memories.

And yes, both Chiron and Uranus rule astrology. Uranus is often associated with Prometheus, who could see into the future, and who brought fire to man from the gods. Chiron was an astrologer, a teacher, and a healer.

Hi, Ace!

I'll set up the chart over the weekend and look at it. We'll want to see what the transits to the inner planets will be.

This does sound like a life lesson that some people are experiencing. I just answered another post for someone going through this transit. Many people who have Saturn in early Capricorn are going though this by January or so. (Some were born in the late '80s, some in the late '50s, etc.) I has to do with trying to rebuild where a part of the life is falling away, but yet it will hit each person differently, according to the rest of the individual's chart.

Hi Sherryelyn,

Apologies for not checking back yesterday when everybody else responded. I gave you my mother's DOB which indicates that she will be 80 years old in 2010. Hence, she is on her last Saturn cycle. If you prompt the data given (Aug. 22/30 @ 9:36 am, 106W38, 52N07) you would see what I explained, ie. transiting Pluto meeting her natal Saturn in 3H (Cap). Also, her natal Uranus conjuncts her Decendant in Aries (in H6). It is opposite her natal Venus in Libra (H12), which conjuncts her ASC.

My mother has always been passive-aggressive/manupulative as shown by her natal Pluto conj MC, and more than most are with this configuration as natal Jupiter conj this Pluto. This is why I suspect that some of her half-truths will come back to haunt and limit her because the Pluto/Saturn conjunction squares tr-Saturn in the mysterious H12. BTW, Scorpio rules her H2 which has tr-Mercury (Gemini, from H9) transiting it. Her natal Moon is in Leo (H10) with solar arch Chiron from H8 meeting it.

If you use the birthdate information I provided, you can see a lot happening in her chart, esp solar arc and progressed charts. For instance, solar arc ASC (with s.a. Venus 4 years behind it) will be meeting her natal Saturn about the time it is being met by tr-Pluto.

I know this is a lot but if somebody could just let me know what the Pluto/Saturn conj squaring natal Saturn in H12 might bring, it would be a good start.

Yes, it's true that Mars can be the trigger (and is in most case) by transit.

Hi, Ace --

Transiting Pluto on and off conjunct her Saturn over the next couple of years will eventually also involve Neptune in Aquarius,transiting opposite her Sun in Leo and sextiling her Mars.

More recently she has had contact from Uranus opposite her Mercury in Virgo, and at some point around September, she will also have Saturn on her Mercury in the 12th house, and this opposition aspect will also be squaring her Mars. At this time, Neptune will be effectively opposite her Sun (although retrograde), and to tell you the truth, I believe that all of this will bring changes into her life before Pluto truly conjuncts her Saturn. She may either be hospitalized or require a good deal of solitude in order to heal. She will definitely be moving from a perspective of power in the Outer World into a deep persespective from an Inner World, if nothing else, but I believe this will come through an illness or disability, so check with her doctors often.

I would take precautions to help her avoid strokes or sudden seizures, or even heart attacks. (Aspirin comes to mind.) I think that she will be learning to give over her power to others, and she will be letting go of her own Pluto dominance out of necessity. She may have many health challenges this fall, so make sure that you are in touch with her doctors as much as possible. By the time Pluto conjuncts her Saturn, she may be a very different person, and will need other's to help her maintain control within her life (if she still desires to have control). She may find that the Uranus and Saturn transit to her Mercury in Virgo as well as squaring Mars in Gemini impedes her communication and her thought processes in some way, and she may need assistance in that area.

This is just my opinion, as I am obviously not a medical practitioner.

Yes, she definitely has control issues. Several years ago I went to a well known astrologer (B.B.) and he said that the "fun" in her chart won't really begin until 2012. He said this because he saw that she is a person whom transits have not affected much in the past. I later learned that this is a fact with unauthentic people, that often they do not feel their own charts. He indicated that up until 2009 she would have chances to change herself and look at who she is and her motivations, but she would likely ignore these opportunities. She is heavily invested in not seeing this. Hence, not until starting in 2010 do things start to get more difficult. It sounded to me as though he was saying that the Universe starts to get serious with her after 2009. He is right that she is one tough bird, or as B. said "a Black Queen" and therefore he said she will survive her Pluto/Saturn square tr-Saturn transit better than one would think possible.....though this transit, he explained, would mark just the beginning. That's why I wanted to know what might happen, more to prepare myself and those closer to her. If that sounds selfish, consider that Leo's tend to project negativity away from themselves as soon as they sense it -- and she is a double Leo, though one with her Sun cusping Virgo (which just makes her more anally-retentive about it). :banghead

Sherrye, when I find the list of natal aspects describing her I will p.m. them to you if you're interested. They are quite a study and thanks again for your analysis. If you can think of any events this transit might trigger besides her health (she has very few issues here), please let me know as forewarned is forearmed.

No, its okay Sherrye. You might remember the moon-chiron conjunction opposing uranus in my birth chart. Well its just that at the same time jupiter-chiron and neptune are over my moon- chiron, the Sun has been squaring these and and opposing my ASC
To cut a long story short, something unexpected and bad happened. I had a feeling that something was about to happen, though
