Your relationship apparently survived the struggles of 2001 to 2003 and so I would say yes there is hope. However, over the last few years Neptune has been transiting across the Sun of the composite chart, so that the purpose of your relationship seems unclear. You need to develop a spiritual purpose together to get through this. Only through uniting to achieve a shared dream or higher purpose will you be able to feel like the relationship has meaning. Hold on though, Neptune will make its last pass to the composite sun in February of 2012 and after that things will resolve one way or the other.
Uranus has been transiting over his sun and the final pass for this very eccentric and sometimes upsetting transit will also be in February, after which he will settle down and stop being so quite so rebellious and odd, but he will be permanently changed as he is seeking his true self. He is probably overly concerned with his possessions, the way he appears to women and getting what he wants right now as well with progressed moon in aries in his 2nd house.
She has Saturn conjunct her ascendant, Pluto conjunct her Mars in the 3rd house and Uranus transiting the 6th. Many upsets in work and routine, a feeling of being constrained and possible health problems. She may feel dominated in conversations or feel as if she is being brainwashed or controlled mentally in some way. She needs to break free of these constraints and assert herself in a way that does not deprive her of security and independence.
