I don't think we will have the internet as we know it in 2017 and 2018 when Uranus in Aries forms the T-square with Mercury and Jupiter in Libra and Mars and Ascendant in Capricorn in the October chart. But I don't know if this is because we will be so much more advance, or if it's because we will be thrown way backward technologically.
The Saboteur in each chart is the 12th house, although some also say the 4th house. But the 12th house is the house of "Undoing". The October chart does have most of the 12th house in Capricorn, and the cusp is Sagittarius. As far as the planets, each planet has a side that can sabotage them in some way, but my feeling is that Neptune and Pluto have a much stronger Saboteur side than the other planets. And each sign can have a Saboteur side, but my feeling is that Scorpio and Pisces have the strongest saboteur tendencies of all the signs. So look for any combination of these in the chart of the Mars in Capricorn person who seems to be sabotaging himself. I'm not saying that Mars in Capricorn doesn't sabotage himself at times, but when he does, he always picks himself up and continues. But one way he does sabotage himself is to remain so focused on the objective that he either gets into a rut or misses better opportunities around him. They are never happy with what they have. However, if you want someone to get the job done, Mars in Capricorn is usually the responsible one who will see it through.
In the October chart, Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, is in Taurus. I think that the downfall of the Internet in the October chart will mostly be stubborn resistance to change in it's hidden or secret uses or methods related to global finances and corporations. Look at how Pluto has been transiting this 12th house. When I taught my students about the perdatory lenders of Pluto in Sagittarius building artificial bubbles of wealth and credit that are being brought down by Pluto in Capricorn, the biggest problem was the refusal of the world to see and believe that this would all come down, and that the underground criminal activity of financial industries would not continue in this form. Pluto was allowing us to grow and build with hidden, dark movites around the world in Sagittarius for years. Pluto in Capricorn brought that down (Not only is it out for "reform", but it it has it's own dark unseen motives. ) Pluto won't begin to surface onto the ascendant until about the same time that Uranus separates away from that T-square (about 2019). I don't see the internet as we know it surviving those transits. In the September chart, Neptune is transiting the IC, and that shows me that inconsistencies, an uncertain future, shifts in the "orgin" or home, or unknown problems are beginning to manifest.
Now, about internet dating...It really does depend on the individual, and whether or not they enjoy that Neptunian mystery (Neptune in the 10th in the October chart, Neptune in the 1st in the September chart), understanding that the "face" or facade" of Neptune in the 1st is unknown, and that the reputation or outer presence of the 10th house may also be unknown.
The October chart has Venus conjunct Jupiter (long distance romance and relationships), and the Moon in the 5th (potential for romance, as well as family type connections through Moon). But Lilith in Cancer conjunct the DC is a little bit of a warning to be aware and hold your own ground even when you begin to feel that familiarity.
Venus is strong enough in that chart, as it's in rulership in Libra, and there are other planets in Libra and Taurus (the other sign ruled by Venus). Plus Taurus is on the IC. I imagine that with Venus conjunct Juptier there are many long distance, world wide love connections. And with Taurus on the IC and the Moon in the 5th, and Cancer on the DC, I think this often leads to permanent relationships and family. At the very least, it maintains relationships, and relationships between family members who are apart. (September chart, Moon in the 7th in Taurus which is Venus ruled, but square Venus in Leo, and the ruler of Leo, the Sun, in the 10th, while Leo is on the MC, Taurus on the DC... Moon square Venus can create situations where one partner or the other is not being realistic about the emotions or intentions of both parties, and either wall themselves off at soem point to protect the emotions, or jump into relationships too quickly.)
I actually know of two couples who met in newsgroups online in the '90s, and although they lived thousands of miles apart in different countries, they ended up married. I lost touch with them by around 2000, so I don't know if the marriages lasted. I'm sure there are many disastrous and dangerous meetings that happen all the time as well, but these couples met back when transiting Pluto was still in the 10th house at the beginning of Sagittarius and beginning to conjunct the 11th house of the October chart. They also met while Jupiter was transiting that 10th house, going from Scorpio into Sagittarius. It was before Pluto really began to corrupt the worldwide connections of Sagittarius. I believe that it would be a bit less safe or positive now that Pluto is transiting the 12th in the October chart. (In the September chart, Neptune is transiting the IC -- some potential for deception. ) You really have to be more alert and play it safe. I would meet these people in public places, always, with many other people around.
